US censorship + defunding the World Health Organization + unvaccinated people everywhere = an unsafe world
So it’s on us now to find alternate sources of information about what’s going on in our country and across the world.

Check out Your Local Epidemiologist
It’s written by Dr. Katelyn Jetelina, a public health professional and with a doctorate in epidemiology and biostatistics. Today’s page features a map of the US with various contagious disease outbreaks, a map showing the spread of bird flu (H5N1) across our country and news of the first child that has died of the measles, a disease that had previously been eliminated in the US. Her posts were the main source of information I trusted during the pandemic.
Health information from the CDC and FDA is censored
When the whiner-in-chief returned to the White House in January, he immediately ordered agencies of the US federal government to stop sharing information about public health with us unless it was reviewed by the White House for its political value. Remember last time he was president and he said we should stop testing for COVID, because then that would stop the increase in the number of reported cases of COVID?!? Yep, same thing.
Censorship
The rulers have censored the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) to prevent us from getting accurate information about our health and especially the spread of contagious diseases.

But measles
There are multiple outbreaks of measles in different parts of the US, an extremely contagious disease that had been eliminated in the US before it became popular for parents to refuse to vaccinate their kids
And Bird Flu
Birds on commercial farms and in backyards, as well as cats and a few humans have caught the H5N1 virus that causes bird flue.
All of this explains why the price of eggs, in particular, is so high. They had to destroy millions of eggs because their hens were exposed to the bird flu.
Refusing to cooperate
The dingbats in charge have also refused to share health information with other countries.
Not only that, they’re taking their toys and going home! They have removed the US from the World Health Organization (WHO) (again!) and won’t contribute the $1 billion we usually pay. That’s 15% of WHO’s budget, but less than 1% of the US budget.

I guess they haven’t realized yet that viruses and bacteria don’t care about national borders?!
